World Economic Forum Welcomes Vestwell to its Unicorn Community, Bringing the Backbone of the Modern Savings Economy to the Global Stage

Vestwell, the backbone of the Modern Savings Economy, has been invited to join the exclusive World Economic Forum (WEF) Unicorn Community. As part of this community, Vestwell’s founder and CEO, Aaron Schumm, will attend and speak at the WEF Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, this January.

This membership aligns with Vestwell’s mission of closing the savings gap and fostering a global culture of saving. Through its award-winning technology and industry-leading services, Vestwell aims to deliver an accessible and enhanced savings experience, creating a secure financial future for everyone.

During the event, Schumm will collaborate with policymakers, academics, innovators, civil society representatives, and business leaders who are shaping global and regional agendas to advance the Forum’s commitment to improving the state of the world.

“There has never been a more pivotal time to engage with the World Economic Forum community of top leaders and experts committed to advancing the issues that matter most,” said Aaron Schumm, founder and CEO of Vestwell. “WEF unites leaders from government, businesses, and civil society to make strategic progress toward improving the state of the world. At Vestwell, we share this mission by collaborating with these communities to increase access to our innovative solutions, which aim to address the global savings crisis—especially for those who have been historically excluded from opportunities to build their financial futures.”

“A strong financial foundation benefits not only individuals but society as a whole. By providing access to savings, Vestwell empowers individuals to secure their futures—whether for retirement, education, healthcare, or emergency needs. Like other WEF community members, our work is helping foster a healthier, more prosperous society,” added Schumm.

At Davos, Schumm will also participate in the panel discussion titled “An Intelligent Age Requires Generational Outcomes in Health and Wealth.” This panel will address the unmet needs and new innovations designed to harness the potential of a new intelligent age. Global experts in science, health, and finance will explore the equitable shifts at the intersection of health and wealth.
